Giving a little can help a lot…

Our giving back to the community campaign allows us to support our chosen charities. We aim to give back to 12 different charities every year by donating part of our profits each month. Our charities are chosen by each member of our team.

We are so happy to support our charities and the amazing work they do during such difficult times. We are proud to be able to make donations each month that make an impact and help to change lives.

March 2025

We chose to support Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day in March. We came into the office dressed in red, and the keen bakers amongst us, rolled up their sleeves and baked a variety of Red Nose Day themed cakes to bring in.

By donating to Comic Relief Red Nose Day, they can provide support for someone in the face of poverty and injustice. The Comic Relief charity helps to fill the shelves of baby banks, community food centres, fund vital community led services like health workers, local youth safe spaces and ensure safe passage for people escaping danger.

They support local community organisations and brilliant change makers here in the UK, and across the globe.

This month’s charity we have chosen to support is Tourettes Action. Tourette’s action is the UK’s only national charity dedicated to supporting individuals with Tourette syndrome and their families. The staff, volunteers and supporters are engaged and energised in driving forward their mission. Everything they do is grounded in their community’s needs and informed by both the voices of our community and research based evidence.

Their vision is to provide a world where people with Tourette syndrome are:  accepted, supported and embraced. This is a world which enables people with the condition to reach their full potential.

Their mission is to support and empower people living with Tourette syndrome, and their loved ones, through comprehensive advice and support. To campaign to improve services, raise awareness and understanding of Tourette syndrome, and work to eliminate the stigma surrounding it. We will assist and promote essential research into Tourette syndrome.

January 2025

This month, we are proud to support the Harvey Hext trust.

The Harvey Hext Trust is a national charity that was originally created to help support bereaved Children, to keep alive loving memories of their brothers and sisters, or parent by supplying bespoke, personalised, wooden Memory Boxes and beautiful Memory Bears as a legacy to their lives. They support the mental and emotional wellbeing of bereaved children to come to terms with their loss.

The Harvey Hext trust was set up by Olivia and Spencer in memory of their son, Harvey. When Harvey died it became apparent that there was very little bereavement support for siblings. Olivia and Spencer were very kindly sent cardboard memory boxes, but they were concerned that cardboard was not durable and not special enough to contain such precious memories. The cardboard boxes were easily damaged and this was heartbreaking. They decided they would like to provide every bereaved sibling with their own bespoke wooden Memory box. Somewhere that was worthy of the precious items it was to hold.
