Until the recent introduction of ValveSafe there has been no reliable or purposed designed means of ensuring the endoscope valves remain as a unique set with their parent endoscope.
ValveSafe is the single use solution for keeping endoscope valves with the parent endoscope during cleaning, disinfection and storage.
It features an integrated opening for the air / water adaptor chain. The wide open design means that disinfectants can easily penetrate through the device and onto the valves.
ValveSafe is rigorously tested for compatibility by our design engineers with both medical and endoscopy backgrounds. There has been a wide range of prototype beta testing including practical evaluation of final design with endoscopy/infection control staff
The polymer used for the construction of ValveSafe is approved for endoscopy use. There should be no reaction with the following:
- Enzymatic detergents
- Alkaline detergents
- No reaction with disinfectants such as Sterilox®, Peracetic Acid, Tristel® or Peracetic acid-based Apalan from Lancer.
